American banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck returns to Finland with his new ensemble, BEATrio.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest banjo players of all time and a winner of 18 Grammy Awards, Fleck moves effortlessly between bluegrass, classical, folk, and jazz, constantly expanding the instrument's possibilities.

BEATrio brings together three extraordinary musicians from different continents: Colombian harpist Edmar Castañeda, Mexican drummer Antonio Sanchez, and Fleck himself. Their collaboration blends dazzling melodies, intricate harmonies, and infectious rhythms into a sound that defies genre boundaries. The trio released its debut album in spring and captivated audiences at festivals such as Pori Jazz. Castañeda is celebrated worldwide for reinventing the harp in a modern context, while Sanchez is known for his long-time work with Pat Metheny and his acclaimed score for the Oscar-winning film Birdman.
