Turku Sea Jazz brings fine music and dining to Forum Marinum in July

With the Archipelago Sea Jazz concept, Turku has received a newcomer to the summer festival calendar. Turku Sea Jazz, held for the second time in 2022, will serve delicacies to all the senses at Forum Marinum on the last weekend of July. In addition to top jazz, high-quality food and drink will come to the fore when the cooperation with Turku Food & Wine Festival begins.




Puistoblues 2022 to feature i.a. 22-Pistepirkko, Joanna Connor and Gaëlle Buswel

Puistoblues has unveiled its first top artists for next July. The festival crowd will arrive in Järvenpää to enjoy the Finnish long-time favorite 22-Pistepirkko, the virtuoso-like American singer–guitarist Joanna Connor and the French favorite Gaëlle Buswel. Tickets for Puistoblues are already on sale at Lippupiste starting at 59 euros.




Tickets to Oulu Music Festival 2022 full programme now available

Oulu Music Festival will be held for the 32nd time from March 12 to 27, 2022. The festival includes a wide variety of concerts and performances. The concerts now released promise diverse jazz from Finland's leading musicians as well as visitors from Sweden and Denmark. Earlier in December 2021, the festival's program announced the opening concert of pianist Mackenzie Melemed, a four-concert chamber music series and the Star Wars - A New Hope film concerts organized in cooperation with the Oulu Symphony, as well as the Ella and Friends in Concert family concert. The entire 25-concert repertoire of the festival is now on sale.


"The dissembling of restrictions must begin immediately!" – Jazz Finland stands with the Finnish music industry's demand to action

Fifteen leading organizations have united to demand action from the decision-makers: the restrictions that affect the live music industry, must be taken down immediately, gradually and safely; the support and stimulus measures for the music industry must continue as long as the restrictions are in place, and the measures must be divided equally; the politicians must break the party lines and commit to build a long-term action plan for the music industry's recovery, conditions, future development and international growth. 


Dance House Helsinki inaugural gala viewing party at Koko Theatre 2 February

The opening gala of Dance House Helsinki will be shown on the big screen of KokoTeatter's theater hall on Wednesday 2 February from 19:30 onwards as a live event. The house band of Koko Jazz Club will open the evening with live music. The official opening of Dance House Helsinki will be celebrated at the same time on without a live audience.
