The urban and marine Turku Sea Jazz will be held on 29–30 July in front of the Forum Marinum Maritime Centre by the Aura river. The audience gets to enjoy the hottest rhythms of Finnish and international jazz as well as wonderful food experiences.
The opening concert at the Aleksanteri Theater will start We Jazz Festival 2022, taking place November 27-December 4. The festival will be held for the ninth time. Tickets for the adventurous event are now on sale at Tiketti outlets.

This spring, Raoul Björkenheim celebrates his 40-year career as an artist on tour with his band eCsTaSy. The guitarist's quartet tour between 28 March–10 April in Finland and visit seven locations: Tampere, Savonlinna, Joensuu, Kuopio, Turku, Seinäjoki and Kuusankoski.
The traditional Sibis Jazz Camp in Seinäjoki celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2022. In honor of that, the camp will be held as one of the international Sibelius Summer Academy courses from 6 to 10 June 2022.

Metso Library takes a nice headstart for the Pirkanmaa Saxophone Festival, which is being held for the second time. A small exhibition of saxophone-themed material will be on display at the library's music department from March 25 to April 3. The exhibition features sheet music, records, books and other saxophone-related notes. The material has been compiled from the library's extensive collections, and the exhibition is open during Metso Library's opening hours.

The purpose of the Erik Lindström Fund is to support the studies of young Finnish jazz musicians primarily in the United States. The capital of the Lindström Fund, which operates in connection with Music Archive Finland, has been donated by the Finnish Jazz Legend No. 1, composer and musician Erik Lindström (1922–2015).
