biography

The Five Corners Quintet is a Helsinki-based groovejazz band that gains lots of influences from the 60's soulful jazz music. The band was originally a studioproject of a producer-drummer Tuomas Kallio and DJ Antti Eerikäinen but later on a line-up was formed around the project which recorded also the two studioalbums, the livealbum in Japan called Jazz Heat, Bongo Beat! – The Helsinki Sessions and five singles/ep-records. In 2003 based project has taken the band to perform around the world in Europe, Asia and United States.
