Biography
Ricky-Tick Records is a Helsinki based record label founded by Tuomas Kallio and Antti Eerikäinen in 2003. Label's aim is to release top-notch jazz, showcasing some of the best talent in the vivid Finnish jazz scene and beyond. The Ricky-Tick vinyl & CD releases are distinguished by a sense of jazz tradition but with a contemporary take on the music and everything related to it. In addition to releasing records, label has organised the Jazz Heat Bongo Beat club events at various venues around Helsinki.
Ricky-Tick Records released their last recording in the end of year 2011 and hasn't operated actively ever since.
