The monthly Summer Jazz Club concert series, taking place at Jyväskylä’s jazziest bar Poppari, kicks off on Tuesday 24 May. The first edition of 2016 will combine experienced talent and youthful joy of playing when the stage is taken by the internationally recognised pianist Alexi Tuomarila and the young, local musicians of Kae-nuu. Tuomarila will introduce his brand new act, Alexi Tuomarila Lithium: a trio composed of up-and-coming stars bassist Joonas Tuuri and drummer Jonne Taavitsainen.
