TTT-Klubi club series, hosted by Tampereen Työväen Teatteri in Tampere, expands this spring. Jazz fans will be offered the treat of four more concerts this spring from some of Finland’s most notable jazz artists.
The TTT-Klubi club series will have more jazz on the menu this year than ever before. Over 2016, altogether ten jazz concerts will be organised as a part of the series, with a host of first class Finnish and a handful of international guests taking the stage. Bringing more jazz to Tampere is made possible by the newly-launched national Jazz Finland LIVE club network, which aims at creating sustainable conditions for regular jazz concert activity around Finland, and a new type of grant from the Finnish Music Foundation. The City of Tampere is also involved with a smaller contribution.

What is Jazz Finland LIVE?
Jazz Finland LIVE is a new type of support form that aims at creating a sustainable jazz concert network around Finland. Tthrough this pilot projec, the Finnish Music Foundation granted support for eight cities: Tampere, Espoo, Helsinki, Iisalmi, Kotka, Oulu, Salo and Turku.
The goal of the project, launched by the Finnish Jazz Federation and The Finnish Musicians’ Union, is to establish a general support system for freelancer artists – one that would promote the availability of professionally produced cultural events around Finland; create more jobs within the sphere of arts and enhance the preconditions for cultural activities in a sustainable way by supporting local players.
