Jarmo Saari celebrates his 50th birthday at Savoy Theater

Jarmo Saari celebrates his 50th birthday with a charitable concert at Savoy theatre on March 14th. The concert program includes songs from the extensive career of multi-instrumentalist and composer Saari. He is joined by guest musicians and artists from the Finnish frontline. The profits of the concert are given to "Suojellaan lapsia" -organisation, that aims to prevent sexual violence on children.





Mikko Pettinen Why Not released a double album

Multi-instrumentalist Mikko Pettinen and his band Why Not opened the new decade in Eclipse Music's catalog with their epic double album "Two Suites For The Change". Thematic album ponders the state of the world with its wide compositions and out-speaking lyrics. Album was released on 17th Jan 2020 as a vinyl-LP, CD and digitally.



Eclipse Jazz Club’s winter programme announced

Eclipse Jazz Club announced its first concerts for this winter. Concerts are held in two venues in Tampere: G Livelab and Kulttuuriravintola Kivi. The program includes such treats as Emma-nominee Signe and album release concert of the long-awaited album by Pauli Lyytinen Magnetia Orkesteri. 


New jazz vocal school founded in Helsinki

Jazz Voice School Helsinki is a vocal school founded by jazz pedagogs Josefiina Vannesluoma and Riikka Keränen. The school offers private and group lessons on singing, basics of popular music, music theory, songwriting and performance coaching. School welcomes all beginners and advanced singers to a jazz singing course starting in February 2020.



The spring program of April Jazz Club now announced

Spring season 2020 of April Jazz Club presents high-quality program of international and Finnish jazz performers. Program consists of instrumental and vocal jazz, and a couple of visits to soul music with special singer legends. Concerts are held in Tapiola, Espoo.
