Saxophonist Jussi Kannaste released his debut album "Out of Self and Into Others" in April 2025. Kannaste's compositions settle on the "continuum of modernity" and the entire material expresses composer's desire to explore the possibilities of small ensemble jazz from his own point of view, always looking for something new. In addition to swing, free space also plays an important role. Kannaste's music flows and breathes naturally.

Siina Suutarinen, a young promising Finnish jazz singer and composer pursuing for an international career, brings her own musical sound has been influenced by jazz and soul, among others. Relationships, strong emotions and the world around her inspire her to write. These themes can be heard on the debut album Who You Are, which was released in April 2025 with Flame Jazz Records. The concert at the Salo Library will feature Suutarinen's trio ensemble, which focuses on space, improvisation and interpretation.

Ahti Lassila's Walking Bass offers a unique art experience in the Salo Art Museum, where the works in the exhibition and the soundscape of the acoustic double bass merge. Jukka Lehtinen's exhibition of large sculptural installations, "Once upon a time", offers an appealing environment for a multidisciplinary event. Lassila walks around the exhibition space with his double bass, stopping to play and develop his sounds around different works. The works and the bassist communicate with each other, creating a new, immersive experience for the on-site audience.

The Helmi Antila Quartet, led by Helmi Antila, has charmed its audiences. The quartet consists of talented musicians of the young generation, who play songs composed and written by Antila in Finnish. A rich world of harmony and honest personal lyrics on the themes of youth, nature, love and relationships are at the heart of the songs. The musicians have become known from bands such as Saimaa, Aija Puurtinen & Brooklynin satu, Peela and Stance Brothers.

Pianist and composer Maja Mannila is one of the most influential young singers in Finland. In addition to his own compositions, the soloist of the SaloJazz House Band will also feature soul classics.

In addition to making music with a confident touch, Mannila emphasizes the importance of freedom and fun in creating and playing music. Maja Mannila Trio was selected for the 2023 Nordic Jazz Comets event to represent Finnish new jazz. Since then, it has performed in Japan, Germany, Slovenia, England and Estonia, among others. In addition to her own projects, Maja plays and sings in the band Peela.
