Toomas Keski-Säntti Quartet introduces the pianist-composer Toomas Keski-Säntti as a bandleader for the first time.

The new ensemble performs Keski-Säntti's music composed during his residency in New York. The music intertwines silence and meditativeness with the possibility of sudden surprise and genuine improvisation present in every moment. The contrapuntal compositions blend the hectic pace of New York with the Nordic mental landscape.

The songs were recorded as a complete album by New York-based musicians in October 2023. For the quartet's performances in Finland, Keski-Säntti has enlisted the country's absolute top-notch rhythm section, Teppo Mäkynen and Joonas Tuuri, alongside vibraphonist Mikko Antila as the soloist.
