Maxxxtet quartet is unpredictable and playful still solemn and plaintive. Characteristic to the band’s sound is bursting improvisation and two wind instrument forefront combined with rhythm section.

Maxxxtet relies on Max Zenger's compositions, making them come to life by using their unique voices of their instruments.  Forward-looking compositions, born from beautiful melodies and  catchy rhythms, draw from tradition of jazz. The focus point of their music making is the desire to compose music of their own without epithets and categories. Maxxxtet is telling real and unreal stories with its original music.

Maxxxtet has released three albums: Chapter 1 (2016), Chapter 2 (2017) and Chapter 3 (2022).
