Markku Ounaskari (b. 1967) is a versatile drummer whose delicate sense of rhythm and fast reacting can be trusted in both groovejazz, modern mainstream and free jazz. His skills have been heard in bands of i.a. saxophonists Sonny Heinilä, Manuel Dunkel and Esa Pietilä, pianists Kirmo Lintinen and Seppo Kantonen and guitarists Pekka Tegelman and Jani Malmi.
