Jazz Finland sets up for a busy tour season
Fall 2021 sees an exceptional number of ensembles on Jazz Finland tours. Either presented by Jazz Finland, or supported by the organization, altogether eight acts star the Finnish jazz stages from September to December. The season begins on the 1st of September, with a one-off concert in Oulu by bassist Jori Huhtala’s septet Talambo. The first full-length tour starts on the 11th of September in Turku, when the all-time-greats, Yrjö-awarded Reiska Laine Quintet hit the road.

Montreux Jazz Voice -kilpailussa palkittu jazzlaulaja Elena Mîndru esittelee yleisölle 27. elokuuta 2021 uuden levynsä Hope. Albumin julkaisee sekä digitaalisesti että fyysisenä äänilevynä Eclipse Music. Levyllä kuullaan vierailevana solistina puolalaista viulistivirtuoosi Adam Bałdychia. Mindrun ja Baldychin lisäksi äänitteellä soittavat suomalaiset huippumuusikot: pianisti Tuomas J. Turunen, basisti Oskari Siirtola ja rumpali Anssi Tirkkonen.

Jazz-Espa returns next summer – help to make it even better!
The 22nd edition of the annual Jazz-Espa concert series was organised with special measures between 26 and 31 July. The festival drew some 3 600 people to the Espa Stage and restaurant Kappeli to enjoy the free open air concerts. Take the two event surveys by the 31st of August, and be a part of Jazz-Espa's development!
Pori Jazz 2022 first performers announced
American superstar John Legend, British artist Emeli Sandé and Finnish special concert Hector Reimagined are Pori Jazz's first performer announcements for next year. The festival will be held for the 55th time 8–16 July 2022, and admission tickets for the event are sold via Ticketmaster.
