Silva Kallionpää Quartet, a fusion of four unique musicians founded in 2017, is not afraid to test its limits. The band's unique collective sound and formula-breaking expression both touch and challenge listeners universally, regardless of background.

Violinist Silva Kallionpää's compositions ambitiously stretch familiar molds and continually seek new paths of expression. Kallionpää's open-minded perspectives are influenced not only by jazz but also by art pop and electronic music.

The quartet's debut album Unadaptable, released in spring 2022 through Eclipse Music, received a positive reception. The band has sparked interest not only domestically but also within international jazz communities. Currently they are working on their next full-length album, scheduled for release in late 2024.
