Mantra is a new piano trio, formed in 2017. Their first rehearsals was held in New York last September when all members brought their compositions to play and the program took shape naturally. Their music is versatile but swing is the connective factor; trio haves fun with the music.

Three generations are meeting with Mantra. All members musical background is similar and all of their expression is based on African-American music jazz tradition. All members’ own experiences and influences from different eras of jazz make this trio especially interesting.
