biography
Pianist Riitta Paakki (b. 1971) has influenced on the field of Finnish jazz music for over 20 years. Besides her own trio and quartet Paakki has played in Mirja Mäkelä's band and in the late-1990s they performed also as a duo with the name Girl's Talk. Besides doing her own music Paakki has taught jazzpiano in Sibelius Academy and the pop/jazz department of Espoo music school Ebeli.
