Kuàra is a Finnish-Norwegian trio of drummer Markku Ounaskari, pianist Samuli Mikkonen and trumpetist-singer Per Jørgensen. Kuàra explores the reduced expression of the Finnish-Ugrian folk songs and Slavic spiritual music through improvisation. The 21st century and the new Scandinavian jazz are also present in their music.

ECM Records released Kuára's debut album Psalms and Folk Songs in 2010. The trio has performed in i.a. Nordic Jazz Happening in Washington DC, Rochester International Jazz Festival and Scandinavian House in New York City.
