Kadi Vija Key Project is a fresh and innovative jazz group built around the outstanding Finnish/Estonian jazz singer Kadi Vija. The ensemble strives for the sound that is soft but substantial, quiet but captivating, sound that stays on the listener's mind but leaves it hungry for more. The unique instrumentation of this group creates the sound that is new and open.

The band's second album, Extended Powerspots, was released by the Turku-based Flame Jazz Records in November 2022. The album features new music by Kadi Vija that is even more unadorned and unpolished, taking the listener into the musicians' thought worlds and emotional states, all while retaining the band's magical musical dialogue.
