Tuomas Timonen (b. 1986) has an extensive track record of playing with A-list artists such as Jukka Tolonen, Alexi Tuomarila, Jerry Bergonzi, Philip Catherine, Mikko Helevä and J.D. Walter. Additionally, he leads his own group, the Tuomas Timonen Lifetime, and joins forces with several ensembles across the fields of pop, rock and folk music. Timonen’s multifaceted experience as a drummer has also expanded into the field of dance with the renowned dance theatre group Tsuumi. Additionally, Timonen mans a teaching post at the Sibelius-Academy Jazz Music department.
