The sound of the music composed by drummer Juho Peltoniemi is based on the Nordic sound and African-American jazz tradition. Peltoniemi's quartet is complemented by experienced, multifaceted musicians who lead their own bands: double bassist Oskari Siirtola, pianist Aleksis Liukko, and trumpeter Martti Vesala.

Eclipse Music released an album titled Dust Dancing (Juho Peltoniemi Trio feat. Martti Vesala) by the band in the spring of 2023. The second track of the album Avanto can be found on Spotify's Jazzia Suomesta playlist. The album also received a highly positive review from the Belgian online publication JazzMania.
