Sami Linna (b. 1974) is an active all-around jazzguy who has had time both play the guitar, work as a trustee in several music organizations and teach guitar in many institutions. Besides his own bands, Unit 6 and Sami Linna Quartet, Linna has played as a sideman in several groups, such as UMO Jazz Orchestra and the groups of Jari Perkiömäki, Jukkis Uotila and Eero Koivistoinen. In recent years one important musical partner has also been organ player Giorgos Kontrafouris.
