Trombonist Mikko Mustonen (b. 1968) is probably best known from his work in the trombonesection of UMO big band, though the versatile bassist has influenced in many other groups as well. For example jazzmusicians Timo Lassy, Jukka Eskola and Sami Pitkämö have used Mustonen's skills in their albums and bands. In addition to trombone he playes also basstrombone, tuba and euphonium, and he is thus really popular musician in different jazz-, pop- and rockbands.
