Silva Kallionpää Quartet released their debut album Unadaptable in April 2022.

Silva Kallionpää Quartet, a fusion of four unique musicians founded in 2017, is not afraid to test its limits. The band's unique collective sound and formula-breaking expression both touch and challenge listeners universally, regardless of background. Their compositions draw on modern jazz and sometimes end up in undefined paths frame the ensemble's work. The band's music tells stories that create new nuances with each performance.

The six songs on the album, born from the pen of Silva Kallionpää, serve fascinating and truly bold original contemporary jazz. Kallionpää's violin is not the most typical main instrument of a jazz band, but it places the band in a rather unique position in the domestic jazz field.

The pre-released single demolish, transform was spotlighted at the Jazzia Suomesta playlist on Spotify at the time of the record release.
