Esko Linnavalli composition competition finalists were chosen on 10 April. The final competition will be aired on YLE Radio 1 on 19 May 2015.
Finland's representative at the Young Nordic Jazz Comets showcase is Katu Kaiku. The saxophone trio is led by Adele Sauros.

Koko Jazzin Kannatusyhdistys ry (Koko Jazz Supporters’ Assiciation) was founded on 5 March 2015 by Timo Hirvonen, Jouko Paananen, Severi Pyysalo, Arttu Takalo and Anna Veijalainen. Having operated formerly as a part of the KokoTeatteri ry, Koko Jazz Club becomes now a more distinct entity with the foundation of its own association.

Turku-born Fredriksson represents Finnish jazz profession at its best - or worst - as he produces events, runs a record label and participates in the culture-political discourse. Fredriksson is not concerned about the demise of tradition in jazz music, but instead is contemplating over how to protect the artistic liberty and independence.
Timo Lassy, one of the fixed stars of Finnish jazz, issues a new album on German label Membran. The upcoming release, entitled “Love Bullet”, will be celebrated at Bar Dubrovnik in Helsinki on 3 June with two full-length live sets.
Paasitorni area will be the setting for jazzy night music for the third time this year.
