Utopianisti is a collective lead by composer/multi-instrumentalist/producer Markus Pajakkala. They play jazz rock in the spirit of Frank Zappa and Pekka Pohjola. The first album was released in 2011 and after the second one the live band was founded in 2014 - it was already booked to tour in Mexico before the first gig. Third album The Third Frontier (2016) was released on Pohjola Records. The band has performed in Finland, Mexico and Japan.
