An ultra-positive, high-energy, extraordinary afro-pop-jazz trio that makes you smile, dance and feel happy.

The group is composed of Yrjö-award-winning pianist Kari Ikonen, who plays the Moog in this outfit. On the percussion is the Beninese Noël Saizonou, familiar from afro-jazz orchestra Helsinki-Cotonou Ensemble; and on the guitar pop guitarist Petri Kautto.

Trio Toffa’s debut album Positive came out on Eclipse Music in October 2016. The album cleared the band's way into big festivals such as Pori Jazz and Helsinki Festival, and the trio is currently working on their next album. Positive's compositions and lyrics were the handiwork of the band's vocalist-percussionist Saizonou.
