Started in early 2014, Teri Mantere & The Manta Rays plays their Finno-Australian leader, singer-guitarist-pianist Teri Mantere's compositions. With Antti Kokkola on the violin, mandolin and electric guitar, Esko Grundström on the double bass, the bass ukulele and the accordion and Juhana Kiiski on the drums and percussion, this group's joyfully eclectic style falls somewhere between alternative acoustic and jazz.
