Sid Hille Jazz Camerata performs versatile and swinging unity of Hille’s compositions, where can be heard rhythmic groove, tight block harmonies and combinations of classical music textures. Hille uses walking bass, pizzicato, bass clarinet imitation and methods of modernism for effect in his compositions. The musicians’ use of electronics adds a zest to music and the unity is crowned with Hille and Viinikainen’s improvisatorial virtuosity.

Sid Hille Camerata’s second record 'Farbformen' (2017) was nominated for the Best record of the Year 2017 by Yleisradio in spring 2018 and it was voted for the favourite of the audience.  

Sid Hille Jazz Camerata’s third album is set to release spring 2019.
