The music of Riikka Keränen Group, founded in 2019, is modern jazz whose texts lingering in deep waters and the swirling paces of jazzy improvisation take the listener on a journey into new worlds. In addition to jazz, the group is also influenced by singer-songwriter tradition and pop music.

Lead by singer Riikka Keränen, the quartet consists of Finnish jazz musicians pianist Juho Valjakka, double bassist Jori Huhtala and drummer Anssi Tirkkonen. The musicians play on Keränen’s debut album A Vision of a Garden (2022).
