Mika Mylläri Quintet i.e. MMQ was one of the most successful jazz bands in Finland through 90s and the beginning of 2000s. Stylistically the starting point was hard bop, or neon bop, which was the term used then. MMQ has released four albums: Heritages (1992), Les Points (1997), 7 Moments (2003) and MMQ (2020).
