Sparkly compositions and luminous sound scenes are tied together in the music of Laura Annika Quartet. The band released their debut album Metsä in November 2017. The quartet is lead by vocalist Annika Mustonen, who also co-writes the compositions with pianist Aleksis Liukko. Double bassist Joonas Tuuri and drummer Jesse Ojajärvi are also members of the quartet. The band is frequently featured by saxophonist Adele Sauros, who is also heard in the Metsä album.

Laura Annika Quartet has been playing together since 2013. Their debut EP Le Lac was released in 2015 and since then the band has been performing at Pori Jazz, We Jazz and Tallinn Music Week.
