Jazz Jkl Collective, made up of four generations, specializes in performing classic jazz music repertoire.

The musicians have hosted a popular monthly jazz club at Restaurant Poppari since spring 2018. From autumn 2021, clubs have also been organized in the neighboring municipalities of Jyväskylä, the first of which are Petäjävesi and Viitasaari. With regular live performances, Jazz Jkl Collective is without a doubt one of the most active domestic jazz groups in recent years.

Founded in the first half of 2018, the ensemble consists of internationally highly regarded pianist Marian Petrescu (b. 1970), the super talent Kasper Halttunen (b. 2001) on drums, one of the top guitarists of his generation Tuomas Paukku (b. 1984), and long-standing bassist Pekka Törmänen (b. 1954).
