Mikko Innanen and Simo Laihonen have performed as a duo for three years touring Finland, Russia and Sweden. Eclipse Music label released their debut album April Fools at We Jazz festival in 2016. In February 2018 the legendary Swedish tubist Per-Åke Holmlander was featured at the duo’s concert in Stockholm. Soon after the concert, the idea of the quartet was born and American Steve Swell joined the group. Innanen and Swell have performed couple of times in New York and Holmlander and Swell even more all around the world.

The band’s ethos is clear: the music is collective and democratic and all members’ ideas are given a chance. Their music emphasize improvisation but some own compositions can be heard from time to time.
