Grind 3, formed in 2016, started as a jam house band and began to play their own fusion music in the end of the year 2017. The basic idea is to create music in a moment and enjoy playing it. The members have worked and educated themselves as versatile musicians, and their passions and backgrounds are heard in their musical output.

All of them have experience in improvised music and jazz but also in pop, RnB music and world music genres. Simple melodies and catchy rhythms are combined with subtle, collective and soloistic improvisation. The contrasts of their music offer the listeners atmospheres from beautiful and emotional to shameless and riotous joy. The ensemble also reaches for the younger listeners – maybe even for those who have yet to find jazz. The band offers familiarity and the link between today’s sounds and improvised jazz traditions. The band is recording their debut album in 2019.
