Guitarist Gonzalo Muruaga Olguin formed Gon Muruaga Quartet after his move to Finland in 2019. The album Postales de un viaje sin retorno, interpreted by the quartet, was released in Finland in 2020 by Eclipse Music.

Muruaga originally composed and recorded the songs of the album in Buenos Aires in 2018. Freely translated, the title of the album 'mail from a journey from which there is no return' perfectly reflects the mood of the album. The songs are landscapes that combine the experience of space and the a sense of vastness. In the band, the jazz impressionist experience is provided by top-class musicians and improvisers. The music occasionally takes its listeners from the scenic landscapes to completely open waters.

The quartet is planning to record a new album.
