The Helsinki-based trailblazing experimental trio Elifantree was formed in 2007. With strong rhythmical textures, tenor saxophone, ambient soundscapes and dazzling vocals they create a sound much larger and wider than the sum of their parts. Elifantree has performed widely in Europe and beyond and has gained a strong reputation as an energetic, unrestrained and constantly surprising live act. Elifantree has released five critically acclaimed albums; Love & Trees in 2010, Time Out in 2012, Movers and Shakers in 2015, Anemone in 2018 and Blood Moon which is a collaborative album with contemporary classical quartet Tölöläb in November 2019. Elifantree will release a new album in autumn 2020.

Elifantree´s live performances have been highlights of many high profile festivals such as Fusion Festial (GER), World Cltures Festival (Hong Kong), Akbank Jazz Festival (TR), The Great Escape (UK), Vossa Jazz (NO), Südtirol Jazz Festival (IT), Ljubljana Jazz Festival (SLO), Flow Festival, Our Festival, Pori Jazz, Helsinki Festival and Tampere Biennale.
