BAK is Helsinki-based band that combines different styles of jazz to popular music. They aim to bring Finnish jazz closer to listeners. BAK is brave and experimental band with unique vision and captivating audiovisual performances. The band was founded in 2017.

BAK describes themselves as modern jazz with open-minded combination of avantgarde, free jazz and the trends of new music. Their unique sound is built by colourfull rhythm sections, flowing usage of saxophones and hand-made instruments by Kolanen. Their upcoming LP record will be released in 2020.
