Singer Annimaria Rinne’s album Jälkeenpäin (2018) has received respectful airtime in Finnish radios, and no wonder why: the combination of a jazz quintet, classical strings and vocal storytelling in Finnish is simply irresistable. She has two of the country’s leading jazz composers/arrangers Seppo Kantonen and Mikko Hassinen in her writing team, and a great live quintet to perform the songs live. Annimaria has completed her music studies in the United States and she started her recording career in 2006 with the album Ensimmäinen, which was released also in South Korea and Japan.
