Alessandro D’Anna Trio was established in June 2020 to perform its leader, drummer Alessandro D’Anna’s latest album Standards Time Vol.II, Mexico City.

The idea of the album was to record standards of the American jazz tradition and also classical arrangements in different cities around the world, which have influenced D'Anna's life and career. The tunes are all fresh arrangements by the drummer with a particular and colorful taste using a trio with a Fender Rhodes sound.
