Aleksi HeinolaQuintet's sound is firmly rooted in hard swingin’ and energetic 50/60’s Hard Bop with a modern twist. The Quintets debut album was released on Jazzaggression Records spring 2019. The record has gotten international recognition and good reviews both in Finland and abroad.

The band was founded in 2018 and in May 2019 they already released their debut album Aleksi Heinola Quintet. Aleksi Heinola was awarded with recognition reward for young musicians by Koko Jazz Club in 2019.
