Aki Himanen and Aleksi Kinnunen are jazz musicians and producers of electronic music. The band was founded in early 2019 due to a desire to combine jazz's spontaneity and a dark electronic soundscape.

The band released its debut album Scapes I in February 2020. The idea was to produce an album, where Ornette Coleman's collective improvisation would be updated through the interaction of machines and people and the techniques of generative music. The machines give impulses to the musicians, but also react to the sound of drums and trumpet in an unpredictable way. The album was guested by saxophone player Tapani Rinne.

Scapes I peaked the interest of Berlin-based Jazz-O-Tech record label. The band is currently working on their next EP that will be released by the company in Spring 2021.
