In Finland he's best known for AR Quartet, who got the We Jazz Rising Star award in 2013. AR Quartet release their debut album in March 2014.

He plays also in Espoo Big Band, Zazambor, Smith & Zenger and Kasurinen-Riikonen Duo. 

In spring of 2014 Kasurinen studies his bachelor program based in Berlin.
