Double bassist Kaisa Mäensivu (b. 1990) is a sought-after newcomer on the Finnish jazz scene. She is currently a student at the Sibelius Academy, studying under the instruction of Jukkis Uotila himself.

Alongside her studies, Mäensivu works as a freelance musician, playing in various groups, including Adele Sauros Quartet and Sointi Jazz Orchestra. She also leads her own band, Kaisa's Machine.
