biography
Joona Toivanen (b. 1981) has in a short time become one of the most talented jazz pianists in Finland. Toivanen's own trio has toured extensively both in Finland and abroad, and besides his own trio Toivanen has worked with many top jazz musicians in Finland. Toivanen's pianism can be described as lyric and delicate, and his technique serves the content in the music all the time.
