Johanna has explored the musical globe while performing with musicians from Egypt, Cuba, Spain, Cape Verde and more. Besides playing with Kokko Quartet, nowadays she works together with producer Satu Nieminen. Their Suvanto duo has influences from jazz and electronica, combining acoustic instruments and electronic soundscapes. Pitkänen also works across disciplines, doing collaborations with different artists.
