Guitarist-composer Jarno Kukkonen (b. July 26, 1964) has worked as a jazz and blues professional since 1980, when he made his first radio tape in the age of fifteen. 

He has held many posts during his career: From guitarist and composer to arranger and a teacher, both in Finland and internationally. Jarno has released four own albums, of which the first two under the pseudonym of "Cuccone".

Kokkonen's big band compositions have been performed since 1985. He has two active ensembles at the moment, Jarno Kukkonen Present and D-Booster.
