Eeti Nieminen (s. 1988) started his drum lessons at the age of 8 in Jyväskylä, Finland. After high school he moved to Helsinki to study in Pop&Jazz Conservatory for a couple of years where he moved to Metropolia university of applied sciences to study music pedagogy. Along with his studies, Nieminen has been teaching in a bandschool in Jyväskylä and at the music camp of Keuruu.

He has been actively performing with several bands, i.a. Jimi Tenor Band, Laurell & Sund Dog, Jonna Tervomaa, Kari Tapiiri ja Mopo. Nieminen has gained a wide understanding and experience of different styles but he always tries to develop his own style and sound, both on the field of jazz and pop. Nieminen releases his own music and performs DJ gigs under the artist name Sun Dog.
