Biography

Akim Color & Antero Priha is a Finnish-Beninese band performing impressionistic, modern jazz and dance music based on African rhythms. The rhythms of Beninese voodoo culture are influenced by Finnish folk songs, blues and bebop jazz. The expert on the rhythms and voodoo rituals of the work is the Beninese percussion artist Eric Odoumonhou alias Akim Color. This is true roots music from the cradle of world rhythm music, from the origins of rhythm!
