We Jazz reaches Sveta Bar in Tallinn this spring with two club nights. We Jazz Tallinn features Perussastamala: May Queen in March and Superposition in May. A cruise package by Eckerö Line is available for jazz-passengers.
We Jazz organizes two We Jazz Tallinn -club nights at Sveta Bar, located in Telliskivi region in Tallinn. The March edition on Saturday 21th includes Perussastamala: May Queen. Perussastamala is an alter ego of bassist and composer Mikael Saastamoinen, a rising star of Finnish jazz stars, performing together with saxophonist Jussi Kannaste. The May edition features creative and explosive new quartet Superposition, that will soon release their debut album on We Jazz Records. Drummer Olavi Louhivuori leads the group of saxophonists Linda Fredriksson and Adele Sauros and bassist Mikael Saastamoinen.
We Jazz Tallinn events were launched in December 2018 as part of We Jazz Festival in Helsinki. The concept were continued to be regular club nights during the year 2019.
