Drummer Okko Saastamoinen’s band tours widely in Finland in February and March. The first single “Piik”  was released on 25 January.

Young quartet OK:KO releases their new album Syrtti on 22 February on We Jazz Records. OK:KO combines expression placed in the continuum of spiritual jazz with Nordic sounds. The album features seven evidences of strong creation development. The melodiousness and natural flow continuously lead the band’s expression towards new and surprising directions.

The ensemble celebrates their new album on a co-produced tour of We Jazz and Jazz Finland. The album release tour stops on eight cities and starts off at Eclipse Jazz Club in Tampere on Tuesday 12 February.
